The day long Expo turned out to be very successful and did a wonderful job of bringing together business owners from DC, Maryland and Virginia.
In additon to dozens of small business exhibitors promoting their businesses, the event featured inspirational speakers from the small business community. Included were Dr. Charlene Nelson of Build Forward Coaching and Nigel Williamson of Youth Connex and Flavors of Hope.
Also at the event, awards were presented to outstanding small businesses with proven success. The winner of the New Business of the Year award went to An Elite Boutique and the winner of the 2011 Small Business of the Year award went to Executive Space Solutions.
The Small Business Expo was hosted by Founded & CEO of The World Advisory Company Alexander H. Johnstone. “I am incredibly pleased with the outcome of this event and I feel like it really brought the community together,” commented Johnstone. “I’m so thankful to everyone that came out and made this event so great. We are already planning for next year and it will be much bigger and better!”
