BAGS FOR CHARITY FASHION SHOW


Come out for a night of fun, entertainment and style while supporting a great cause!
On Friday, October 28, Harrison Heights presents the 2011 Bags for Charity Fashion Show to be held at An Elite Boutique in Bowie, MD. Throughout the evening, 10 stylish ‘Ankara handbags’ by Harrison Heights will be modeled and auctioned off to the highest bidders.
Harrison Heights creates Afro-Chic handbags made exclusively for the man or woman of style who wants to make a fashion statement. Their mission is to promote the beauty, and culture of the Motherland as well as provide local artisans’ economic empowerment through sustainable income.

All proceeds from the auctioned bags will go to The Redeemed Christian Church of God Restoraton Center’s “This Too Shall Pass” program. The goal of this program is to help support individuals and families going through financial difficulty to the extent that basic feeding needs have become challenging. It is intended to be a temporary support until the individuals can get themselves back on their feet.
